The Android application offers the following functionalities:
- Control your Roku player or Roku TV using your mobile device.
- Browse, add, and rate channels from the extensive selection of over 2,000 streaming channels available in the Roku Channel Store.
- Swiftly launch your preferred Roku channels on your Roku player or Roku TV directly from your mobile device.
- Enter text into your Roku player's on-screen interface using your device's keyboard rather than the standard remote.
- Assign names and seamlessly switch between multiple Roku players and Roku TVs.
- Additional features include shake-to-pause, voice search, homescreen widget, and notification controls.
This application requires a Roku player or Roku TV. To utilize this app, connect your Android device to the same network as your Roku player or Roku TV.
If you encounter difficulties locating your Roku player or Roku TV:
- If the app fails to recognize your Roku device (a "No Roku Devices Found" message appears after signing in), attempt reconfiguring the network setup on your Roku player or Roku TV to locate them on your home network. Subsequently, select "Try Again" in the app.
